| CVE-2026-104715 | 2 Red Hat, Redhat | 4 Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux, Openshift and 1 more | 2026-10-31 | 7.8 High |
| A flaw was found in cifs-utils. This flaw allows an unprivileged local user to achieve privilege escalation. When a privileged service mounts a Common Internet File System (CIFS) share using a user-controlled credentials file, input values are not properly sanitized before being assembled into mount options. A local attacker can exploit this vulnerability to inject unauthorized mount options, allowing them to bypass permission checks and execute files with administrative (root) privileges. | ||||
| CVE-2026-104029 | 3 Fedoraproject, Redhat, Sssd | 5 Sssd, Enterprise Linux, Openshift and 2 more | 2026-10-31 | 3.3 Low |
| A flaw was found in SSSD. A local attacker can exploit this vulnerability by sending a specially crafted request to the autofs responder UNIX socket. Due to improper buffer offset calculation during request parsing, the service performs an out-of-bounds memory read. This flaw can cause the autofs responder process to crash, resulting in a denial of service (DoS). | ||||
| CVE-2026-104040 | 3 Fedoraproject, Redhat, Sssd | 5 Sssd, Enterprise Linux, Openshift and 2 more | 2026-10-31 | 4.4 Medium |
| A flaw was found in SSSD. When configured with the Entra ID identity provider, input lookup names containing single quotes are not properly escaped before being included in Microsoft Graph Open Data Protocol (OData) queries. A low-privileged local user can exploit this flaw by submitting a crafted search request, altering query filters to broaden user or group searches. This can lead to information disclosure by retrieving unintended directory objects, as well as a Denial of Service (DoS) through excessive processing and cache population. | ||||
| CVE-2026-104047 | 3 Fedoraproject, Redhat, Sssd | 5 Sssd, Enterprise Linux, Openshift and 2 more | 2026-10-31 | 5.3 Medium |
| A flaw was found in SSSD. When configured to use Microsoft Entra ID, search inputs are not properly sanitized before being incorporated into directory query filters. A local user can exploit this vulnerability by submitting a crafted lookup request, manipulating the query logic to cause unauthorized information disclosure from the directory. | ||||
| CVE-2026-104041 | 2 Redhat, Sssd | 3 Enterprise Linux, Openshift, Sssd | 2026-10-31 | 5.5 Medium |
| A flaw was found in SSSD. An unprivileged local user can repeatedly request lookups for nonexistent entries through the Name Service Switch (NSS) responder. Because the negative cache does not limit the total number of stored entries and only removes expired records when an existing key is rechecked, the cache can grow without bound. This behavior can lead to memory exhaustion, resulting in a Denial of Service (DoS) as the responder becomes unresponsive or terminates. | ||||
| CVE-2026-115455 | 3 Gcc, Red Hat, Redhat | 7 Gcc, Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux and 4 more | 2026-10-31 | 6.5 Medium |
| A flaw was found in GCC libstdc++. When an application extracts data into a bitset from a wide-character stream, internal stack memory allocation fails to properly account for character size and alignment. An attacker capable of supplying crafted input to an affected application could trigger a stack-based buffer overflow leading denial of service (DoS). | ||||
| CVE-2026-93834 | 2 Qemu, Redhat | 8 Qemu, Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux For Nvidia 26 and 5 more | 2026-10-31 | 8.8 High |
| A use-after-free vulnerability was found in QEMU's 9pfs subsystem. A race condition between the main thread and a worker thread when processing concurrent Tlcreate and Twalk requests allows a malicious guest user to craft a fid path containing stale heap data, bypassing directory traversal restrictions and escaping the shared directory boundary. This can lead to arbitrary host file read/write and code execution (VM escape) as the QEMU process user. | ||||
| CVE-2026-119528 | 2 Red Hat, Redhat | 2 Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux | 2026-10-31 | 7.8 High |
| A flaw was found in GIMP. The PSD plug-in’s image resource header loader uses an incorrect destination size when copying a converted resource name into a fixed stack buffer. Opening a crafted PSD file can cause a stack-based buffer overflow, leading to a crash and potentially arbitrary code execution. | ||||
| CVE-2026-119727 | 2 Red Hat, Redhat | 2 Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux | 2026-10-30 | 6.5 Medium |
| A flaw was found in GStreamer's gst-plugins-bad H.265 video parser. When parsing a specially crafted H.265 bitstream containing a Screen Content Coding (SCC) extension with certain palette predictor initializer settings, an integer underflow in the upper-bound computation allows the parser to accept an out-of-range value for the number of palette predictor entries. This causes the parser to write beyond the end of a fixed-size array, resulting in memory corruption and an application crash. Successful exploitation requires an attacker to provide a malformed H.265 media file to a vulnerable application, and is limited to a denial-of-service impact. | ||||
| CVE-2026-93008 | 3 Dnsmasq, Red Hat, Redhat | 8 Dnsmasq, Enterprise Linux, Ceph Storage and 5 more | 2026-10-30 | 6.8 Medium |
| A flaw was found in dnsmasq. When following a CNAME in a DNS response, the resolver can cache records for the CNAME target without checking that those records belong to the responding server's authorized zone. In split-DNS deployments that send some domains to a specific upstream, an attacker who controls that upstream can inject cache entries for unrelated names. Later clients may then receive attacker-chosen addresses for those names. | ||||
| CVE-2026-93011 | 3 Dnsmasq, Red Hat, Redhat | 8 Dnsmasq, Enterprise Linux, Ceph Storage and 5 more | 2026-10-30 | 5.3 Medium |
| A flaw was found in dnsmasq. After a reduction of internal domain-name buffer sizes, the DNSSEC validator can write a few bytes past a name buffer when converting names to and from DNS wire format. An attacker who can cause the server to validate a crafted DNSSEC response may overwrite a small amount of adjacent heap metadata. DNSSEC support is not compiled in by default and must also be enabled at runtime. | ||||
| CVE-2026-93007 | 3 Dnsmasq, Red Hat, Redhat | 8 Dnsmasq, Enterprise Linux, Ceph Storage and 5 more | 2026-10-30 | 5.3 Medium |
| A flaw was found in dnsmasq. The TCP DNS service uses a small fixed pool of child processes and does not set a receive timeout on client connections. A remote attacker can open idle TCP connections to port 53 and occupy the entire pool, preventing new TCP DNS connections and DNSSEC validation that requires TCP fallback. UDP DNS resolution continues, and occupied slots are released after a fixed lifetime. | ||||
| CVE-2026-93006 | 3 Dnsmasq, Red Hat, Redhat | 8 Dnsmasq, Enterprise Linux, Ceph Storage and 5 more | 2026-10-30 | 6.8 Medium |
| A flaw was found in dnsmasq. The TFTP server can serve the wrong file contents because a recently used transfer cache is not invalidated when a transfer finishes. An attacker on the local network who can request a TFTP file may cause a later client to receive previously cached data instead of the requested file. In PXE network-boot environments this can substitute attacker-chosen boot content for a victim machine. | ||||
| CVE-2026-93010 | 3 Dnsmasq, Red Hat, Redhat | 8 Dnsmasq, Enterprise Linux, Ceph Storage and 5 more | 2026-10-30 | 4.3 Medium |
| A flaw was found in dnsmasq. When DHCP leasequery is enabled without listing allowed source addresses, the server does not check who sent the query. A host on the local network can request DHCP lease records and learn assigned addresses, MAC addresses, hostnames, and related lease metadata. The feature is off unless an administrator turns it on. | ||||
| CVE-2026-93009 | 3 Dnsmasq, Red Hat, Redhat | 8 Dnsmasq, Enterprise Linux, Ceph Storage and 5 more | 2026-10-30 | 4.3 Medium |
| A flaw was found in dnsmasq. The DHCPv6 client hostname parser can read one byte past the end of a crafted FQDN option because it checks the next label length before confirming the pointer is still inside the option. An attacker on the local network can trigger this with a single DHCPv6 packet. The extra byte is not returned to the client or logged, and no crash has been demonstrated. | ||||
| CVE-2026-14476 | 2 Redhat, Sssd | 11 Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Eus, Openshift and 8 more | 2026-10-30 | 8 High |
| A path traversal flaw was found in SSSD's AD GPO provider. The ad_gpo_extract_smb_components() function does not sanitize .. sequences in the gPCFileSysPath LDAP attribute, allowing an attacker with AD GPO management access to write files outside the GPO cache directory as root. On default RHEL configurations with SELinux enforcing, this can be used to inject Kerberos configuration leading to authentication bypass. | ||||
| CVE-2026-14474 | 1 Redhat | 9 Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Eus, Openshift and 6 more | 2026-10-30 | 8.8 High |
| A flaw was found in SSSD's LDAP sudo provider. When the ldap_sudo_search_base option is not explicitly configured, SSSD searches the entire LDAP directory tree for sudoRole objects. An authenticated attacker with write access to any subtree can inject a sudoRole object granting root-level sudo privileges on all SSSD-enrolled hosts. | ||||
| CVE-2026-1933 | 2 Redhat, Samba | 10 Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Eus, Openshift and 7 more | 2026-10-30 | 7.1 High |
| A flaw was found in Samba’s handling of NTFS-style reparse points on shares configured with read only = yes. Due to missing SMB-layer access checks, authenticated users with underlying filesystem write permissions may create or delete reparse point metadata through SMB operations even on read-only exports. This could allow modification of SMB-visible file behavior, including converting files into symbolic links or other reparse point types. | ||||
| CVE-2026-107161 | 2 Cyrusimap, Redhat | 6 Cyrus-sasl, Enterprise Linux, Hardened Images and 3 more | 2026-10-30 | 7.5 High |
| A heap-based buffer overflow flaw was found in Cyrus SASL. The add_to_challenge() function in the DIGEST-MD5 plugin computes the size of the buffer needed for a challenge/response field before DIGEST-MD5 quoting is applied, but does not recompute that size when quoting (escaping special characters) makes the value longer. The under-sized buffer is then passed to strcat(), causing a heap-based out-of-bounds write whose size depends on attacker-controlled input. A malicious or on-path DIGEST-MD5 (or HTTP Digest) server can trigger this flaw in a connecting client by supplying a crafted challenge field, such as realm or nonce, most likely resulting in a crash of the client application. | ||||
| CVE-2026-119729 | 2 Red Hat, Redhat | 2 Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux | 2026-10-30 | 6.5 Medium |
| A flaw was found in GStreamer. An integer overflow vulnerability in the AV1 LEB128 variable-length integer parser allows a remote attacker to cause a crash in applications that process AV1 media content. By crafting a malformed AV1 bitstream containing an invalid LEB128-encoded value, an attacker can cause integer overflow in the parser, resulting in incorrect length values being used during stream processing, which can lead to a denial of service. | ||||
