| CVE-2026-116729 | 1 Libyal | 1 Libfvde | 2026-10-30 | 3.3 Low |
| libfvde through 20260923 contains a heap out-of-bounds read vulnerability in libfvde_encrypted_metadata_read_type_0x001a() caused by an unbounded strlen on embedded XML plist data. Attackers can supply a crafted FileVault 2 volume with non-NUL-terminated plist data, causing libfvde_volume_open() to read past the heap block buffer. | ||||
| CVE-2026-93009 | 3 Dnsmasq, Red Hat, Redhat | 8 Dnsmasq, Enterprise Linux, Ceph Storage and 5 more | 2026-10-30 | 4.3 Medium |
| A flaw was found in dnsmasq. The DHCPv6 client hostname parser can read one byte past the end of a crafted FQDN option because it checks the next label length before confirming the pointer is still inside the option. An attacker on the local network can trigger this with a single DHCPv6 packet. The extra byte is not returned to the client or logged, and no crash has been demonstrated. | ||||
| CVE-2026-61627 | 1 Libass | 1 Libass | 2026-10-30 | N/A |
| libass is a portable subtitle renderer for the `ASS`/SSA (Advanced Substation Alpha/Substation Alpha) subtitle format. Prior to 0.17.5, libass can overread and overwrite the glyph array in `wrap_lines_measure` while rendering malicious `ASS` content. In `wrap modes other than two`, a final line ending with a literal backslash-n sequence and otherwise consisting only of such sequences or spaces can remain after early trimming and make the line-measurement loops overshoot by one glyph. When the total text size exactly matches the allocated glyph-array capacity, the first loop reads an uninitialized 32-bit fixed-point `pos.x` value, although that value is not subsequently used. The second loop writes `pos.x` and `pos.y` beyond the array, zeroing the first and adding an attacker-controllable offset to the second. No actual exploitation beyond possible denial of service is known; broader exploitation is theoretical and constrained by the addresses, limited writes, and ASLR. This issue is fixed in version 0.17.5. | ||||
| CVE-2026-104063 | 1 Scribus | 1 Scribus | 2026-10-30 | 6.1 Medium |
| Scribus before 1.6.7 contains an out-of-bounds read vulnerability in the Mac PICT image loader and import plugin when decoding planar pixel data. Attackers can supply a crafted PICT file with manipulated dimensions that, when placed or imported, causes heap over-reads leading to crashes or heap memory disclosure. | ||||
| CVE-2026-119338 | 1 Tesseract-ocr | 1 Tesseract Ocr | 2026-10-30 | 6.6 Medium |
| Tesseract is an open source OCR engine. From 5.4.0 until 5.5.4, AppendLinePolygon in src/api/pagerenderer.cpp destroys the caller-owned right-to-left Pta accumulator while receiving it by value, leaving line_top_rtl_pts and line_bottom_rtl_pts dangling. On an upright Hebrew or Arabic page at the default PAGE XML level, POLYGONFLAG with a false skewed_flag enters the vulnerable calls, while LEVELFLAG greater than zero provides an alternative gate. The calls repeatedly read and free the stale object, causing a double free and use after free and allowing corrupted coordinates to reach RecalcPolygonline. This issue is fixed in version 5.5.4. | ||||
| CVE-2026-77491 | 1 Microsoft | 30 Office, Office 365, Office Macos 2021 and 27 more | 2026-10-30 | 5.5 Medium |
| Out-of-bounds read in Windows GDI allows an unauthorized attacker to disclose information locally. | ||||
| CVE-2026-69609 | 1 Microsoft | 23 Office, Office 365, Office Macos 2021 and 20 more | 2026-10-30 | 5.5 Medium |
| Out-of-bounds read in Windows Win32K allows an authorized attacker to disclose information locally. | ||||
| CVE-2026-57185 | 1 Asterisk | 2 Asterisk, Certified Asterisk | 2026-10-30 | 6.5 Medium |
| Asterisk is an open source private branch exchange and telephony toolkit. Prior to Asterisk 20.20.1, 21.12.3, 22.10.1, 23.4.1 and Certified Asterisk 20.7-cert11, 22.8-cert3, an authenticated attacker may crash Asterisk through a buffer over-read in the `PJSIP MWI body parser` by sending a carefully crafted `SIP NOTIFY` request. The attacker must pass SIP authentication using either a username/password or `source IP address matching`. This issue is fixed in Asterisk 20.20.1, 21.12.3, 22.10.1, 23.4.1 and Certified Asterisk 20.7-cert11, 22.8-cert3. | ||||
| CVE-2026-104594 | 2026-10-30 | 7.5 High | ||
| libosmocore through 1.14.1 contains out-of-bounds reads in the IPA CCM identity-tag parsers in src/gsm/ipa.c. This allows a remote attacker to obtain sensitive information. | ||||
| CVE-2026-119299 | 1 Gopacket | 1 Gopacket | 2026-10-30 | 5.9 Medium |
| gopacket provides packet processing capabilities for Go. Prior to 1.7.2, the SCTP chunk chain in layers/sctp.go passes attacker-controlled declared lengths and counts to decodeSCTPInit, decodeSCTPShutdown, decodeSCTPError, decodeSCTPSack, and decodeSCTPParameter without checking that each chunk contains the fixed fields, parameter TLVs, gap acknowledgements, or duplicate TSNs those sub-decoders read. A crafted SCTP segment can therefore cause out-of-bounds or inverted slice panics; the panic can terminate applications that use gopacket.DecodeOptions.SkipDecodeRecovery, direct registered decoders, or DecodingLayerParser with IgnorePanic enabled, while the default recovery-enabled APIs convert it to a per-packet decode error. This is the SCTP sub-decoder residual named but not remediated by CVE-2026-65819, whose version 1.7.1 changes bounded the generic dispatcher but left these per-type reads and loops unchecked. The impact is availability only, with no data disclosure, modification, or allocation amplification. This issue is fixed in version 1.7.2. | ||||
| CVE-2026-119721 | 1 Blender | 1 Blender | 2026-10-30 | 6.1 Medium |
| Blender before 4.5.15 and 5.x before 5.2.3 contains an out-of-bounds read vulnerability in blo_bhead_id_* accessors in readfile.cc that read ID fields without block length checks. Attackers can supply a crafted .blend file with short ID blocks that, when browsed or appended from, causes heap over-reads leading to crashes or heap memory disclosure. | ||||
| CVE-2026-104592 | 2026-10-30 | 6.5 Medium | ||
| libosmocore through 1.14.1 contains an out-of-bounds read in the CBSP WRITE-REPLACE decoder in src/gsm/cbsp.c. This allows a remote attacker to cause a denial of service. | ||||
| CVE-2026-9535 | 1 Vtk | 1 Vtk | 2026-10-30 | 8.2 High |
| A out-of-bounds read vulnerability exists in the vtkChacoReader InputGraph2 functionality of vtk (version(s): 9.6.1). A specially crafted chaco can lead to an out-of-bounds read. An attacker can provide a malicious file to trigger this vulnerability. | ||||
| CVE-2026-90869 | 2 Progress, Progress Software | 2 Ws Ftp Server, Ws Ftp Server | 2026-10-30 | 7.5 High |
| A remote attacker who knows a valid account's enrolled SSH public key can terminate the shared SSH service in Progress Software WS_FTP Server versions prior to 2024.0.7 and 2025.0.4 on Windows. | ||||
| CVE-2026-107080 | 1 Uclouvain | 1 Openjpeg | 2026-10-30 | 6.5 Medium |
| OpenJPEG 2.4.0 through 2.5.4, and git master through commit 8314119b, contains an out-of-bounds read and write in opj_dwt_encode_and_deinterleave_v() in src/lib/openjp2/dwt.c. This allows an attacker to cause a denial of service. | ||||
| CVE-2026-63912 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-30 | 9.8 Critical |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: xfrm: esp: restore combined single-frag length gate The ESP out-of-place fast path appends the trailer in esp_output_head() before esp_output_tail() allocates the destination page frag. The head-side gate currently checks skb->data_len and tailen separately, but the tail code allocates a single destination frag from the combined post-trailer skb->data_len. Reject the page-frag fast path when the combined aligned length exceeds a page. Otherwise skb_page_frag_refill() may fall back to a single page while the destination sg still spans the combined skb->data_len. Restore this combined-length page gate for both IPv4 and IPv6. | ||||
| CVE-2026-63915 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-30 | 8.8 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nfc: hci: fix out-of-bounds read in HCP header parsing Both nfc_hci_recv_from_llc() and nci_hci_data_received_cb() read packet->header from skb->data at function entry without first checking that the buffer holds at least one byte. A malicious NFC peer can send a 0-byte HCP frame that passes through the SHDLC layer and reaches these functions, causing an out-of-bounds heap read of packet->header. The same 0-byte frame, if queued as a non-final fragment, also causes the reassembly loop to underflow msg_len to UINT_MAX, triggering skb_over_panic() when the reassembled skb is written. Fix this by adding a pskb_may_pull() check at the entry of each function before packet->header is first accessed. The existing pskb_may_pull() checks before the reassembled hcp_skb is cast to struct hcp_packet remain in place to guard the 2-byte HCP message header. | ||||
| CVE-2026-63963 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-30 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: usb: typec: tcpm: validate VDO count in Discover Identity ACK handlers Properly validate the count passed from a device when calling svdm_consume_identity() or svdm_consume_identity_sop_prime() as the device-controlled value could index off of the static arrays, which could leak data. | ||||
| CVE-2026-19654 | 2 Redhat, Rsyslog | 9 Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Eus, Rhel Aus and 6 more | 2026-10-30 | 7.5 High |
| A unauthenticated remote peer may lead rsyslogd to crash due to a flaw in the optional imptcp module. A crafted input sequence during oversize-frame recovery can cause an invalid internal message length and terminate rsyslogd. No confidentiality or integrity impact, privilege escalation, or code execution has been identified. imtcp and the default imptcp framing modes are not affected. | ||||
| CVE-2026-119277 | 2 Mariadb, Mariadb-corporation | 2 Mariadb-connector-j, Mariadb-connector-j | 2026-10-30 | 5.9 Medium |
| MariaDB Connector/J is used to connect applications developed in Java to MariaDB and MySQL databases. From 3.0.0 until 3.3.7, 3.4.5, and 3.5.11, decoders for OK packet session-state blocks, column definition packets, text row data, or binary row data used server-declared lengths without confirming that the requested bytes remained in the receive buffer. The decoders could position reads, create sub-buffers, or decode strings beyond the packet boundary. A malicious or compromised server, or a machine-in-the-middle attacker, could trigger unchecked ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException or IllegalArgumentException failures inside JDBC calls and terminate connection handling. This issue is fixed in versions 3.3.7, 3.4.5, and 3.5.11. | ||||
