CVSS v3.1 |
| Multiple DrayTek VigorSwitch models contain a pre-authentication null pointer dereference vulnerability in the setget.cgi interface. The vulnerability is caused by missing validation when the pass field is absent. A remote attacker can trigger this vulnerability via a crafted request to crash the service and cause a denial of service. |
| Multiple DrayTek VigorSwitch models contain a null pointer dereference vulnerability in the formlogout function. The vulnerability is caused by missing checks for an empty or absent Cookie header before string handling. A remote attacker can trigger this vulnerability via a crafted request to crash the service and cause a denial of service. Exploitation requires valid administrative credentials for the device's web management interface. |
| A vulnerability was determined in ggml-org llama.cpp bec4772f6. This affects the function rpc_server::graph_compute of the file ggml/src/ggml-rpc/ggml-rpc.cpp of the component ggml-RPC Server. Executing a manipulation can lead to null pointer dereference. The attack may be launched remotely. The pull request to fix this issue awaits acceptance. |
| IBM AIX 7.2, and 7.3 and IBM PowerVM VIOS 4.1 could allow a remote attacker to cause a denial of service due to a null pointer dereference. |

| Hydra is a framework for elegantly configuring complex applications. Prior to 1.3.4, hydra.utils.instantiate() resolves and calls Python objects selected by configuration through _resolve_target() in hydra/_internal/instantiate/_instantiate2.py, allowing attacker-controlled target values and arguments to choose dangerous callables. A consuming application, library, CLI workflow, or model loader that passes untrusted configuration, CLI overrides, or model metadata into hydra.utils.instantiate() can therefore execute arbitrary code in its own process, including reading or modifying files and credentials or terminating the process. Version 1.3.4 adds target blocking with an explicit HYDRA_INSTANTIATE_ALLOWLIST_OVERRIDE escape hatch. This issue is fixed in version 1.3.4. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
selinux: avoid sk_socket dereference in selinux_sctp_bind_connect()
selinux_sctp_bind_connect() dereferences sk->sk_socket to pass a
struct socket * to selinux_socket_bind() and
selinux_socket_connect_helper(). However, when the hook is invoked
from the ASCONF softirq path (sctp_process_asconf), there is no file
reference guaranteeing that sk->sk_socket is non-NULL. The setsockopt
callers (bindx, connectx, set_primary, sendmsg connect) hold a file
reference and are not affected.
Both selinux_socket_bind() and selinux_socket_connect_helper()
immediately resolve sock->sk, never using the struct socket * for
anything else. Refactor the inner logic into helpers that take a
struct sock * directly so that selinux_sctp_bind_connect() never needs
to touch sk->sk_socket at all. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
serial: 8250_mid: Fix NULL function pointer dereference on DNV/ICX-D/SNR platforms
Commit b1b4efea05a5 ("serial: 8250_mid: Disable DMA for selected
platforms") replaced the dnv_board setup and exit callbacks with
PTR_IF(false, ...), which evaluates to NULL. However, the three call
sites in mid8250_probe() and mid8250_remove() unconditionally
dereference these function pointers without NULL checks, causing a NULL
pointer dereference (kernel oops) on any Denverton (DNV), Ice Lake Xeon
D (ICX-D/CDF), or Snowridge (SNR) platform.
Fix this by adding the missing NULL checks before calling the setup and
exit callbacks. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
bpf: Reject BPF_MAP_TYPE_INODE_STORAGE creation if BPF LSM is uninitialized
When CONFIG_BPF_LSM=y is set, BPF inode storage maps
(BPF_MAP_TYPE_INODE_STORAGE) are compiled into the kernel. However,
if the BPF LSM is not explicitly enabled at boot time (e.g. omitted
from the "lsm=" boot parameter), lsm_prepare() is never executed for
the BPF LSM.
Consequently, the BPF inode security blob offset
(bpf_lsm_blob_sizes.lbs_inode) is never initialized and remains at
its default compiled size of 8 bytes instead of being updated to a
valid offset past the reserved struct rcu_head (typically 16 bytes
or more).
When a privileged user creates and updates a BPF_MAP_TYPE_INODE_STORAGE
map, bpf_inode() evaluates inode->i_security + 8. This erroneously
aliases the struct rcu_head.func callback pointer at the beginning
of the inode->i_security blob. During subsequent map element cleanup
or inode destruction, writing NULL to owner_storage clears the queued
RCU callback pointer. When rcu_do_batch() later executes the queued
callback, it attempts an instruction fetch at address 0x0, triggering
an immediate kernel panic.
Fix this by introducing a global bpf_lsm_initialized boolean flag
marked with __ro_after_init. Set this flag to true inside bpf_lsm_init()
when the LSM framework successfully registers the BPF LSM. Gate map
allocation in inode_storage_map_alloc() on this flag, returning
-EOPNOTSUPP if the BPF LSM is in turn uninitialized.
This fail-fast approach prevents userspace from allocating inode
storage maps when the supporting BPF LSM infrastructure is absent,
avoiding zombie map states. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
media: mtk-vcodec: potential null pointer deference in SCP
The return value of devm_kzalloc() needs to be checked to avoid
NULL pointer deference. This is similar to CVE-2022-3113. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
bnge: Fix NULL pointer dereference in aux device release
If allocation of auxr_dev fails during auxiliary device setup, the error
path calls auxiliary_device_uninit(), which eventually invokes
bnge_aux_dev_release().
The release callback unconditionally dereferences aux_priv->auxr_dev->pdev
to retrieve the parent bnge_dev. Since auxr_dev has not yet been allocated
on this failure path, the dereference results in a NULL pointer exception
Retrieve the parent bnge_dev from the auxiliary device's parent instead of
auxr_dev, and free auxr_dev only when it was successfully allocated. This
allows the release callback to correctly clean up partially initialized
auxiliary devices. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
serial: 8250_dma: Clear stale RX state on shutdown
serial8250_release_dma() terminates RX DMA and releases the channel, but
leaves rx_running set. If the port is closed while an RX transfer is
active, the stale state remains while rxchan is NULL until the channel is
requested again on the next open.
The DesignWare BUSY workaround added by commit a7b9ce39fbe4
("serial: 8250_dw: Ensure BUSY is deasserted") calls
serial8250_rx_dma_flush() from the LCR write path during startup. This
happens before serial8250_request_dma() obtains a new RX channel. On
reopen, the stale rx_running state therefore makes the flush path pass a
NULL channel to dmaengine_pause(), causing a kernel Oops.
Clear rx_running after terminating RX DMA, matching the TX cleanup. Also
make the flush helper return if the DMA object or RX channel is not
available so startup and teardown paths cannot pass a NULL channel to the
DMAengine API. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
tracing: Fix NULL pointer dereference in module event cache removal
A module-only event filter such as ":mod:foo" is cached with a NULL
event_mod->match when foo has not been loaded. If a later write tries to
remove a specific match from the same module, remove_cache_mod() passes
the NULL cached match to strcmp(), causing a NULL pointer dereference.
The issue can be reproduced from userspace:
echo ':mod:trace_events_kunit_missing' > /sys/kernel/tracing/set_event
echo '!foo_bar:mod:trace_events_kunit_missing' >> /sys/kernel/tracing/set_event
The second write must be a concatenation (">>") to not include O_TRUNC as
that would cause ftrace_clear_events() to clear the cached modules lines.
The crash was reproduced on x86_64 QEMU while KUnit workers contended on
the event tracing path:

continues to return -EINVAL; a broad cached module filter is removed with
"!:mod:<module>". |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
ASoC: qcom: q6apm: fix NULL pointer dereference in graph_callback
When q6apm_free_fragments() is called it frees rx_data.buf/tx_data.buf
and sets them to NULL under graph->lock. A late DSP buffer-done response
can race with this: graph_callback() passes the !graph->ar_graph guard
(not yet NULL), acquires the lock, but then dereferences a now-NULL buf
pointer to read buf[token].phys, crashing at virtual address 0x10.
Add a NULL check for buf inside the mutex-protected section in both the
write-done (DATA_CMD_RSP_WR_SH_MEM_EP_DATA_BUFFER_DONE_V2) and
read-done (DATA_CMD_RSP_RD_SH_MEM_EP_DATA_BUFFER_V2) handlers and bail
out cleanly if buffers have already been freed.
This problem is only shown up recently while apr bus was updated to
process the commands per service rather from single global queue. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
xprtrdma: Initialize re_id before removal registration
rpcrdma_create_id() registers ep->re_rn with the rpcrdma ib_client
before returning the new rdma_cm_id to rpcrdma_ep_create(). However
rpcrdma_ep_create() currently stores that pointer in ep->re_id only
after rpcrdma_create_id() returns.
A local administrator can race an NFS/RDMA mount against RDMA device
removal. If rpcrdma_remove_one() observes the just-registered
notification before rpcrdma_ep_create() assigns ep->re_id,
rpcrdma_ep_removal_done() calls trace_xprtrdma_device_removal(NULL).
The tracepoint dereferences id->device->name and copies
id->route.addr.dst_addr, so the callback can crash the kernel with a
NULL pointer dereference.
Store the rdma_cm_id in ep->re_id immediately before publishing
ep->re_rn. The existing error path still destroys the id directly if
registration fails; ep is then freed by the caller without using
ep->re_id. Remove the later duplicate assignment in rpcrdma_ep_create(). |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
kernfs: link kn to its parent before the LSM init hook
After commit 12e9e3cd03b5 ("simpe_xattr: use per-sb cache"),
kernfs_xattr_set() and kernfs_xattr_get() compute the cache via
kernfs_root(kn) before any other check. kernfs_root(kn) walks
kn->__parent first and falls back to kn->dir.root, both of which are
NULL on a freshly kmem_cache_zalloc()'d kn. kn->__parent was being set
in kernfs_new_node() after __kernfs_new_node() returned, and kn->dir.root
is set even later by kernfs_create_dir_ns() / kernfs_create_empty_dir().
The LSM kernfs_init_security hook is invoked from inside
__kernfs_new_node(), before either field has been initialized.
selinux_kernfs_init_security() ends with kernfs_xattr_set(kn,
XATTR_NAME_SELINUX, ...). kernfs_root(kn) then returns NULL, and
&((struct kernfs_root *)NULL)->xa_cache evaluates to
offsetof(struct kernfs_root, xa_cache) which faults:
BUG: kernel NULL pointer dereference, address: 00000000000000e0

cgroup_create+0x116/0x380
cgroup_mkdir+0x7c/0x1a0
Reproduces deterministically at PID 1 (systemd) on an SELinux-enabled
distro. The first cgroup mkdir under /sys/fs/cgroup with a labelled
parent panics the kernel.
The LSM hook's contract is that the kn_dir argument is the parent of
the new kn, so kn->__parent should already point at kn_dir when the
hook runs. Move kernfs_get(parent) and rcu_assign_pointer of
kn->__parent from kernfs_new_node() into __kernfs_new_node() right
before the security hook, and unwind the parent reference on the
err_out4 path. kernfs_root(kn) then takes its parent branch during
the hook and returns parent->dir.root, which is the correct root.
This also closes the same-shape latent bug in kernfs_xattr_get() (which
today is hidden only by kernfs_iattrs_noalloc() returning NULL on a
fresh kn). |
| Incus is a system container and virtual machine manager. Prior to version 7.1.0, `(*backend).CreateCustomVolumeFromBackup` in `internal/server/storage/backend.go` contains an unguarded `*time.Time` dereference on the `ExpiresAt` field of every volume-snapshot entry in an imported custom-volume backup. An authenticated user with `can_create_storage_volumes` permission on any project can crash the `incusd` daemon by uploading a backup tarball whose `volume_snapshots[*].expires_at` field is absent. This is a sibling-field variant of GHSA-r7w7-mmxr-47r9 (CVE-2026-40197). Commit `985a1dedf9f3e7ba729c93b654905ed510de25c2` added `if s == nil` at the top of the loop body, but did not guard the adjacent `*snapshot.ExpiresAt` deref 19 lines later. Every other consumer of `Config.VolumeSnapshots[i].ExpiresAt` in this same file already gates the deref with a nil-check — the asymmetric guard is the bug. Version 7.1.0 contains an updated patch. |

| The RabbitMQ Java client library allows Java and JVM-based applications to connect to and interact with RabbitMQ nodes. Prior to 5.33.0, com.rabbitmq.tools.jsonrpc.ProcedureDescription receives a javaReturnType value in an untrusted system.describe response and passes it through JSONUtil.tryFill, setJavaReturnType, and computeReturnTypeAsJavaClass to Class.forName(javaReturnType) with initialization enabled. An attacker able to answer the JsonRpcClient request through a shared broker or network interception can select a class already present in the victim JVM and trigger its static initializer, while JsonRpcClient.java later passes getReturnType output to mapper.parse and may also create type confusion. Successful exploitation can affect confidentiality, integrity, and availability in the client process. This issue is fixed in version 5.33.0. |
| Joomla Extension - balbooa.com - Pre-auth Payment Amount Tampering in Balbooa Forms < 2.4.3.2 - The stripeCharges and payAuthorize endpoints accept the charge total from a client-controlled request parameter and forward it to the payment gateway without recomputing it from the form's configured product prices. Neither endpoint enforces authentication or CSRF checks. An unauthenticated attacker can purchase any priced item for an arbitrary amount (e.g., $0.01), and can additionally forge line items, quantities, and shipping. |
