CVSS v3.1 |
| The WP Compress – Instant Performance & Speed Optimization plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to authorization bypass in all versions up to, and including, 7.22.01. This is due to the plugin not properly verifying that a user is authorized to perform an action. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to link the victim site to an attacker-controlled WP Compress account, overwrite plugin settings to an aggressive live-CDN preset, and gain the shared api_key that authenticates all nopriv HMAC-gated endpoints — enabling full control over cache purging, file deletion, opcode cache invalidation, and other privileged plugin operations. This vulnerability only affects fresh installations or lite/free-mode installs where no api_key is already stored, as the sole guard fails open when the stored key is absent. |
| Integer overflow, use-after-free in the Graphics: Text component. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox 159 and Thunderbird 159. |
| Use-after-free in the DOM: Animation component. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox 159 and Thunderbird 159. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
tracing: Save the event file instead of the compatible histogram
create_field_var_hist() creates a histogram on the matched event to
supply a field variable, and records it on the target so it can be torn
down later:
hist_data = find_compatible_hist(target_hist_data, file);
...
/* Save the compatible histogram information */
var_hist->hist_data = hist_data;
hist_data is not the histogram it creates. It is one that was already
there, whose keys the new one copies. The saved pointer has a single
user, unregister_field_var_hists(), which runs when the target is
removed:
file = hist_data->field_var_hists[i]->hist_data->event_file;
find_compatible_hist() matches on keys alone, so it can pick one with no
variables of its own. check_var_refs() then returns false and the user
can remove it while the target still points at it:
BUG: KASAN: slab-use-after-free in event_hist_trigger_free+0x2b2/0x320
Read of size 8 at addr ffff8880093b90e0 by task init/1
Freed by task 1:
kfree+0x154/0x420
event_hist_trigger_free+0x1d5/0x320
event_hist_trigger_parse+0x35f3/0x69e0
trigger_process_regex+0x1a6/0x250
Save the event file instead. It is all the dereference ever wanted, and
it does not go away when the user removes a trigger. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
Input: ati_remote2 - fix type confusion in device attribute handlers
Previously, the channel_mask and mode_mask attributes were registered on
the parent usb_device via sysfs_create_group(). When commit b20d6bf8014b
("Input: ati-remote2 - use driver core to instantiate device
attributes") converted the driver to let the driver core manage them via
dev_groups in struct usb_driver, the attributes moved to the bound
usb_interface devices, but the show and store callbacks were not updated
accordingly.
As a result, the callbacks still invoked to_usb_device() on a device
pointer belonging to a struct usb_interface, producing an invalid
usb_device pointer.
Use to_usb_interface() directly in the attribute handlers to obtain the
interface and its driver data. |
| Frame poisoning in the CSS Parsing and Computation component. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox 159 and Thunderbird 159. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
fork: release the files of a failed fork after sched_cancel_fork()
Reorder copy_process() cleanup so sched_fork() taking scx_fork_rwsem
scx_pre_fork() is safe and isn't held around exiting files. Right now, a
fork that fails while another thread closed the bpf link fd will
deadlock against its own read side. It also blocks every fork on the
system:
copy_process() holds scx_fork_rwsem for read
exit_files()
close_files()
filp_close_sync()
bpf_scx_unreg()
kthread_flush_work() waits for the disable work
scx_root_disable()
percpu_down_write(&scx_fork_rwsem)
Simply release the child's files after sched_cancel_fork() dropped the
lock. The task starts out as a copy of its parent so p->files points to
the parent's table until copy_files() replaces it. exit_files() must not
run for a fork that failed before that. Clear p->files up front so
exit_files() is a no-op for those and make copy_files() set it
explicitly for CLONE_FILES. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
tracing/histograms: Verify event_call identity when updating synth_event refcount
In event_hist_trigger_parse() and hist_unreg_all(), the histogram
registration and unregistration paths look up find_synth_event() using
trace_event_name(file->event_call) and adjust se->ref if a match is
found.
Because find_synth_event() only compares the event basename, registering
or removing a histogram on a non-synthetic trace event whose basename
matches a synthetic event erroneously modifies the synthetic event's
reference count. If a histogram is registered on the non-synthetic
event before the synthetic event is created and removed afterwards,
se->ref is decremented without a matching increment, allowing the
synthetic event to be freed while an active histogram action still holds
a pointer to it.
Introduce find_synth_event_call() to verify that &se->call matches
file->event_call before adjusting se->ref. |

| Use-after-free in the Layout: Images, Video, and HTML Frames component. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox 159 and Thunderbird 159. |
| Use-after-free in the JavaScript Engine: JIT component. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox 159 and Thunderbird 159. |
| Use-after-free in the DOM: Core & HTML component. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox 159 and Thunderbird 159. |
| Use-after-free in the SVG component. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox 159 and Thunderbird 159. |
| In addDragDropListener of WindowManagerService.java, there is a possible permission bypass due to a missing permission check. This could lead to local escalation of privilege with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation. |
| An authorization issue was addressed with improved state management. This issue is fixed in macOS Golden Gate 27.2, macOS Tahoe 26.7.2. An app may be able to read sensitive location information. |
| AVideo is a video-sharing Platform. Prior to 8.1.0, the encoder lacks a global authentication layer and exposes control and status PHP endpoints to anonymous network callers. `view/run.php` has a commented-out guard and invokes `Encoder::run()`. `view/queue.json.php` calls `Encoder::getAll(true)`, reveals streamer URLs through `getSiteURL()`, and triggers processing with `execRun()`. `view/status.php` returns `Access-Control-Allow-Origin` with a wildcard, reads the queue, triggers processing, and exposes host memory statistics through `ServerMonitor::getMemory()` when `serverStatus` is set. `view/listFiles.json.php` checks only `Login::canBulkEncode()`, which admits anonymous callers whenever `disableBulkEncode` is empty, the default. Its `path` parameter is resolved with `realpath()` and listed with `scandir()` without a base-directory restriction. An unauthenticated attacker can drive the privileged queue processor, read queue and streamer-site information, obtain memory statistics and enumerate media file names and paths in any directory readable by the web-server user. Enumeration is limited to configured media extensions and does not itself disclose arbitrary file contents. This issue is fixed in version 8.1.0. |
| PiWeb Disable payment method / Partial payment for WooCommerce before 1.1.10.9 contains a missing authorization vulnerability in the update_fees AJAX handler that allows unauthenticated attackers to modify and read other customers' orders. Attackers can reuse a nonce from their own order-pay page and supply sequential order_id values to change payment methods, recalculate fees, and disclose order line items and totals. |
| This issue was addressed with additional entitlement checks. This issue is fixed in iOS 26.7.2 and iPadOS 26.7.2, iOS 27.2 and iPadOS 27.2. An app may be able to fingerprint the user. |
| In setAccessibilityWindowAttributes of AccessibilityWindowManager.java, there is a possible untrusted/misleading UI issue due to a missing permission check. This could lead to local escalation of privilege with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation. |
| A flaw was found in the Linux kernel's TUN/TAP functionality. This issue could allow a local user to bypass network filters and gain unauthorized access to some resources. The original patches fixing CVE-2023-1076 are incorrect or incomplete. The problem is that the following upstream commits - a096ccca6e50 ("tun: tun_chr_open(): correctly initialize socket uid"), - 66b2c338adce ("tap: tap_open(): correctly initialize socket uid"), pass "inode->i_uid" to sock_init_data_uid() as the last parameter and that turns out to not be accurate. |
