CVSS v3.1 |
| fastify-cli starts the Node.js Inspector when a debug flag is used, but it ignores the explicit bind address the user supplies and binds the Inspector to a broadly reachable address instead of the intended loopback. As a result the debugging interface can be exposed beyond the local machine, and because the Inspector protocol allows arbitrary code evaluation, a remote party that reaches it can achieve remote code execution on the developer's machine. This affects fastify-cli from 1.5.0 up to 8.0.1. Users should upgrade to fastify-cli 8.0.1, which honors the configured Inspector bind address. |
| HTML::FormHandler versions before 0.410000 for Perl allow attacker selected method dispatch and resource exhaustion because _apply_actions and add_error use error message text built from request data as a Locale::Maketext bracket notation template.
add_error hands its first argument to the language handle as the Locale::Maketext message key, and the default handle's lexicon sets `_AUTO`, so a string that is not a lexicon entry is compiled as a bracket notation template instead of being looked up. In a bracket group the first token names a method called on the language handle and the remaining tokens are its arguments.
Three kinds of text the library did not author reach that position. _apply_actions installs a `$SIG{__WARN__}` handler that stores the warning text in `$error_message`, and a captured warning survives a successful action, so a field carrying a numeric transform turns `Argument "[sprintf,%50000000d,0]" isn't numeric` into the template; a warning quotes the submitted value verbatim, so the group is well formed and dispatches. `$error_message ||= $tobj->validate($new_value)` takes a type constraint's own failure message, which renders the rejected value through a partial dumper in bracket and comma form (Devel::PartialDump when Moose can load it, Type::Tiny's own dumper always), so a field with `apply => [ Str ]` given a parameter sent more than once, which arrives as an array, gets `Reference ["a","b"] did not pass type constraint "Str"` as its template, from a request that carries no bracket character of its own. A coercion or transform exception reaches it the same way. Beyond those, a validator whose message contains the field value puts that value in the template directly, and add_error replaces the message list with the contents of an arrayref first argument (`@message = @{$message[0]} if ref $message[0] eq 'ARRAY'`), so a value arriving as an array fills the argument slots from the same request as well.
A malformed group such as `[0]` makes the compile croak, and HTML::FormHandler::I18N::maketext and add_error each re-raise that as a die, so process() throws. A well formed group naming sprintf reaches CORE::sprintf with an attacker chosen field width. Any caller that applies a type constraint or a transform to an untrusted field, or whose validator passes an untrusted field value to add_error, can be made to throw an unhandled exception out of process(), or to allocate an arbitrary amount of memory in one request, and an application whose language handle subclass defines side effecting public methods makes those callable with attacker chosen arguments. The dumped type constraint message is bounded to the exception, because both dumpers quote non-numeric elements so the method slot is never an attacker chosen name. The built-in messages pass fixed templates with the value in an argument slot, where it stays inert, and the built-in field types attach explicit message callbacks, so neither is affected. |
| Adobe Commerce is affected by an Improper Neutralization of Special Elements Used in a Template Engine vulnerability that could result in arbitrary code execution in the context of the current user. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability to execute arbitrary code. Exploitation of this issue does not require user interaction. Scope is changed. |
| A flaw was found in olm-operator-konflux-sample. The system's automated merging of updates, known as Renovate automerge, is configured too broadly, allowing a wide range of updates without sufficient scrutiny. Additionally, the critical base image for the catalog, ose-operator-registry, is entirely excluded from this update tracking. This combination creates an inconsistent and potentially insecure update process, increasing the risk of unpatched vulnerabilities being introduced into the system. |
| YesWiki is a wiki system written in PHP. Prior to version 4.6.6, YesWiki Bazar contains a stored Server-Side Template Injection (SSTI) vulnerability in the semantic template feature that can be escalated to confirmed Remote Code Execution (RCE). An authenticated administrator can place arbitrary Twig expressions into the Semantic template (Twig) field (bn_sem_template), and that content is later executed server-side when public semantic endpoints are requested. This issue has been patched in version 4.6.6. |
| Twig is a template language for PHP. From version 1.0.0 to before version 3.27.0, SecurityPolicy::checkMethodAllowed() unconditionally whitelists all method calls on instances of Twig\Markup. Twig\Markup is not final, so subclasses inherit the bypass. An application that passes an object of a Markup-derived class into a sandboxed template (typically to mark a chunk of HTML as safe) inadvertently exposes every public method of that subclass to template authors, regardless of the configured allowedMethods list. This issue has been patched in version 3.27.0. |
| IBM Verify Identity Access Advanced Access Control may be vulnerable to an information disclosure attack. |
| An incorrect buffer size calculation in the Windows Interactive Service in OpenVPN 2.7_alpha1 through 2.7.6 allows local authenticated users to cause memory corruption or disclose sensitive information via crafted NRPT inputs. |
| Prototype pollution vulnerability in searchParamsToObject() is leading to a persistent XSS in Maps. URL parameter processing was not filtering dangerous properties like __proto__, combined with jQuery's unsafe element creation that traversed the prototype chain. |
| toml-node is a TOML parser for Node.js and the browser. Prior to 4.1.2, toml.parse() in lib/compiler.js can be tricked by a table path such as a.b.y.__proto__.__proto__, allowing traversal from a scalar value into Number.prototype and Object.prototype. The currentPath tracking value uses both arrays and strings, so valueAssignments records a comma-joined path such as a,b.y while deepRef checks the dot-joined path a.b.y, allowing the duplicate-key guard to miss and attacker-controlled keys to be written to Object.prototype. A table-array prefix-clearing path in addTableArray can also erase guard state before the same __proto__ traversal. Injected properties become visible throughout the Node.js process and can cause denial of service, logic or authorization bypass, or code execution when an application contains a suitable gadget. This issue is fixed in version 4.1.2. |
| XING CPTrans-ME-X contains a Use of Default Password (CWE-1393). Anyone with the knowledge of the credential may log in to the affected device. |
| A flaw was found in libssh. Incorrect AES-GCM finalization checks in builds using the OpenSSL backend can effectively remove integrity protection, allowing an in-path attacker to modify plaintext on the wire without detection. |
| Improper neutralization of special elements used in a template engine in the CDK generator in Amazon awslabs.dynamodb-mcp-server before 2.1.6 might allow a context-dependent actor to execute arbitrary code on the host that deploys the generated application via crafted table, index, or attribute names in a data model file. |
| node-csv is a full-featured CSV parser with a simple API that is tested against large datasets. Prior to 7.0.2, csv-parse with the columns and group_columns_by_name options enabled treats a duplicate __proto__ header as an existing property in packages/csv-parse/lib/api/index.js, assigns an attacker-controlled array through obj['__proto__'], and replaces the parsed record object's prototype. A malicious CSV header can therefore inject inherited array values into the returned record, hide those inherited values from JSON serialization, and affect property enumeration and type or shape checks in applications that process the record. This issue is fixed in version 7.0.2. |
| crmne/ruby_llm at commit fa6f279847d6d7027814539d9c0dfc3bbdfd2a83 contains a polynomial-time regular expression denial-of-service condition in RubyLLM::Utils.underscore on Ruby 3.1.x. A very long crafted class, agent, or tool name can cause excessive CPU consumption and a denial of service. |
| If configured as a server, CodeMeter Runtime before versions 8.41a and 9.10 accepts requests with opcode 0x5e, which contain the data length and
the data itself. Missing bounds checking on the data length value can lead to out of bounds reads, causing a
segmentation fault that ultimately crashes the CodeMeter Runtime. |
| A format string vulnerability exists in the command line interface of AOS-CX that could lead to unauthenticated remote code execution. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability results in the ability to execute arbitrary code as a privileged user on the underlying operating system. |
| In rsync 3.0.1 through 3.4.1, receive_xattr relies on an untrusted length value during a qsort call, leading to a receiver use-after-free. The victim must run rsync with -X (aka --xattrs). On Linux, many (but not all) common configurations are vulnerable. Non-Linux platforms are more widely vulnerable. |
| @fastify/busboy is a multipart form-data parser. In versions 3.1.0 through 3.2.0, a remote unauthenticated attacker can stall the Node.js event loop by sending a multipart request whose boundary is crafted to a specific length. The vendored streaming search stores its skip table in a fixed 256 entry byte array, and a boundary of exactly 252 bytes makes the search needle 256 bytes, which truncates the default skip distance to zero and turns the search into a CPU bound loop on a small body. A single small request can keep one core busy and deny service to other requests handled by the same process. The issue is fixed in @fastify/busboy 3.2.1, which widens the skip table so the skip distance is preserved. Users should upgrade to 3.2.1. |
| The values of the mail.allowed_attachment_hostnames advanced config setting were used in a regular expression without escaping. For some possible valid hostnames, this could allow certain unintended hostnames to also match and serve remote attachments. This vulnerability was fixed in Thunderbird 155 and Thunderbird 153.2. |
