CVSS v3.1 |
| Dependency on vulnerable third-party component in Windows Secure Boot allows an authorized attacker to bypass a security feature locally. |
| Rsyslog is a rocket-fast system for log processing. From 8.2110.0 until 8.2604.0, the optional imhttp module's parse_auth_header function in contrib/imhttp/imhttp.c allocates a zero-byte heap buffer with calloc(0, len) when an HTTP Basic Authorization value exceeds its fixed work buffer, then passes that pointer to apr_base64_decode. An unauthenticated remote attacker can send an oversized encoded credential to an imhttp endpoint configured for Basic Authentication, causing decoded data to overwrite adjacent heap memory before credential validation. Deployments that do not install, load, and use imhttp with Basic Authentication are not affected. The demonstrated impact is a process crash that interrupts log collection, and code execution has not been demonstrated. This issue is fixed in version 8.2604.0. |
| Sync-in Server is an open-source platform for file storage, sharing, collaboration, and syncing. Prior to version 2.4.0, the sync diff endpoint compiles a user-supplied string into a `RegExp` with no complexity validation. A catastrophic-backtracking pattern (e.g. `^(a+)+b`) blocks the Node.js event loop, making the entire server unresponsive to all users until the container is restarted. Version 2.4.0 patches the issue. |
| rhwp is an HWP viewer and editor implemented in Rust and WebAssembly. Prior to rhwp 0.7.15 and rhwp Chrome and Firefox extension 0.2.4, the browser extensions use an all-URLs host permission to detect HWP and HWPX links on visited pages, but the service workers do not validate message senders, URL schemes, or destination addresses before privileged fetches. The affected paths are rhwp-chrome/manifest.json, rhwp-chrome/content-script.js, rhwp-chrome/sw/message-router.js, rhwp-chrome/sw/thumbnail-extractor.js, rhwp-firefox/manifest.json, rhwp-firefox/content-script.js, rhwp-firefox/sw/message-router.js, and rhwp-firefox/sw/thumbnail-extractor.js. An untrusted page can make the fetch-file and extract-thumbnail handlers request localhost or private-network resources. When a target HWP or HWPX file contains an extractable PrvImage, the extension returns the preview as a data URI in page-readable DOM, allowing page script to read it. The flaw also permits internal-resource existence and port probing and extension presence or version fingerprinting. Exploitation requires a user to visit an untrusted page while the extension is enabled, and preview disclosure is limited to an extractable PrvImage. This issue is fixed in rhwp 0.7.15 and rhwp Chrome and Firefox extension 0.2.4. |
| SAIL is a cross-platform library for loading and saving images with support for animation, metadata, and ICC profiles. Prior to 1.0.0, sail_codec_load_frame_v8_xbm() in src/sail-codecs/xbm/xbm.c allocates the decoded pixel buffer using the X11 one-byte-per-literal layout, but an X10 static short file causes the flat decode loop to write two file-controlled bytes per literal. When ceil(width/8) produces an odd row stride, the X10 literal count includes a padding byte for every row, but the destination has no space for those bytes, so loading the XBM through sail_load_from_file, sail_load_from_memory, or sail_start_loading_* produces a forward heap overwrite that scales with image height. The X11 static char path is not affected. The overwrite can corrupt process state, cause reliable crashes, and potentially enable code execution in a susceptible consuming application. This issue is fixed in version 1.0.0. |
| rabbitmq-c is a C-language AMQP client library for RabbitMQ. Prior to 0.16.0, a malicious AMQP server can send an undersized connection.tune.frame_max value during amqp_login(), and rabbitmq-c accepts the value in amqp_login_inner() in librabbitmq/amqp_socket.c. amqp_tune_connection() in librabbitmq/amqp_connection.c uses frame_max to reallocate the outbound buffer without enforcing AMQP_FRAME_MIN_SIZE. Immediate serialization of connection.tune-ok through amqp_frame_to_bytes() writes beyond the undersized heap allocation, causing memory corruption and likely denial of service. An on-path attacker can also trigger the flaw against plaintext AMQP traffic. Code execution is theoretically possible but was not demonstrated. This issue is fixed in version 0.16.0. |
| Incorrect calculation of buffer size in Windows iSCSI allows an unauthorized attacker to execute code over a network. |
| Builder.io Gen2 SDKs through versions 5.2.11 and 0.25.13 contain a prototype pollution vulnerability in the unflatten helper that processes builder.userAttributes query parameters without prototype guards. Attackers can craft preview links with __proto__ or prototype segments to pollute Object.prototype in a visitor's browser when the SDK processes the malicious URL. |
| Red Hat Product Security has come to the conclusion that this CVE is not needed. |
| AnyIO is a high level asynchronous concurrency and networking framework that works on top of either Trio or asyncio. Prior to 4.14.2, AnyIO starts process-pool workers with standard error connected to a pipe that the parent never drains, even though the documented behavior redirects all three standard streams. Worker code that writes enough attacker-influenced data to sys.stderr can fill the pipe and block before returning the standard-output protocol response, causing the awaiting process-pool call to remain blocked indefinitely. Applications that run untrusted or faulty worker code capable of producing substantial standard-error output are affected. This issue is fixed in version 4.14.2. |
| A vulnerability was found in the Keycloak-services package. If untrusted data is passed to the SearchQueryUtils method, it could lead to a denial of service (DoS) scenario by exhausting system resources due to a Regex complexity. |
| Some Hikvision intercom products utilize an immutable factory value which should be obtained from local network or physical interaction with the device within their main card, which may allow attackers to forge a legitimate main card, thereby gaining the permission to issue cards. |
| novel-plus through 5.3.3 contains an insecure default cache-management password in the CacheController.refreshCache endpoint that allows anonymous attackers to invalidate portal caches by supplying the hardcoded default value in the URL path. Attackers can trigger unauthorized cache invalidation by accessing the cache/refresh endpoint with the known default password, forcing unnecessary database queries to repopulate the cache. |
| IBM Verify Identity Access is missing origin validation which could allow a remote attacker to perform operations as the victim and potentially launch further attacks against the systems. |
| Improper handling of length parameter inconsistency vulnerability in ABB Freelance Controller DCP, ABB Freelance Controller AC700, ABB Freelance Controller AC800, and ABB Freelance Controller AC900.
This issue affects Freelance Controller DCP: through 2013, 2013 SP1, 2016, 2016 SP1, 2019, and 2019 SP1; Freelance Controller AC700: through 2013, 2013 SP1, 2016, 2016 SP1, 2019, and 2019 SP1; Freelance Controller AC800: through 2013, 2013 SP1, 2016, 2016 SP1, 2019, and 2019 SP1; Freelance Controller AC900: through 2013, 2013 SP1, 2016, 2016 SP1, 2019, and 2019 SP1. |
| libheif is a HEIF and AVIF file format decoder and encoder. Prior to 1.23.2, the public heif_region_item_add_region_inline_mask_data() function in libheif/api/libheif/heif_regions.cc accepts mask_data_len without verifying that it equals the byte count required by width and height. A later heif_region_get_mask_image() call derives the read length from the region geometry, so an undersized stored buffer causes heif_region_get_inline_mask_image() to read beyond the heap allocation and copy adjacent bytes into the returned monochrome mask image. This can disclose heap data or crash an application that constructs region metadata through the writer API, while the file-parsing path is not affected because it validates the canonical mask size. This issue is fixed in version 1.23.2. |
| ruby-jwt is a Ruby implementation of the RFC 7519 OAuth JSON Web Token standard. Prior to 2.10.3 and 3.2.0, JWT.decode(token, '', true, algorithm: 'HS256') accepts an attacker-forged token because OpenSSL::HMAC.digest('SHA256', '', payload) returns a valid digest under an empty key and no empty-key precondition exists in the HMAC algorithm. The same path is reached when a keyfinder block or key_finder: argument returns an empty string, nil, or an array containing nil for an unknown key, affecting HS256, HS384, and HS512 verification through JWT.decode and JWT::EncodedToken#verify_signature!. This issue is fixed in versions 2.10.3 and 3.2.0. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
powerpc/syscall: Fix syscall skip handling for seccomp and ptrace
After enabling GENERIC_ENTRY on PowerPC, syscall_enter_from_user_mode()
returns -1 as a sentinel to signal that seccomp or ptrace has intercepted
the syscall and already set a return value via syscall_set_return_value().
system_call_exception() was not handling this sentinel, and since -1UL
is >= NR_syscalls, the code fell into the out-of-range path and returned
-ENOSYS, overwriting the errno already placed in regs->gpr[3].
The naive fix of checking r0 == -1L before the NR_syscalls bounds check
is ambiguous: a user legitimately calling syscall(-1) also produces r0 ==
-1L, and a tracer intercepting such a call would have its injected return
value silently discarded.
Fix this by introducing a thread flag that is set whenever
syscall_set_return_value() explicitly updates the return value. In
system_call_exception(), check and clear this flag before dispatching
the syscall, and return the preset value directly when it is present.
This ensures that an explicitly supplied return value always suppresses
syscall execution, regardless of the syscall number.
This handles all seccomp actions correctly:
- SECCOMP_RET_ERRNO, SECCOMP_RET_TRACE (no tracer), SECCOMP_RET_USER_NOTIF:
all call syscall_set_return_value(), flag is set, injected value returned.
- SECCOMP_RET_TRAP, SECCOMP_RET_KILL: call syscall_rollback() and deliver
a signal; flag is not set, but the process is dying so the return value
is irrelevant.
The fix covers both ppc32 and ppc64 with no #ifdefs. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
wifi: iwlwifi: mvm: fix off-by-one in TXF key sanitiser
iwl_mvm_frob_txf_key_iter() tracks the last matched byte position
in loop variable 'i'. When a full key match is found (match ==
keylen), 'i' points at the last byte of the matched key. The
memset start offset should therefore be i + 1 - keylen, not
i - keylen; the current code zeroes one byte before the match
and leaves the final key byte un-sanitised. |
| On affected platforms running Arista EOS with Open Shortest Path First version 3 (OSPFv3) configured, a specially crafted packet can cause the OSPFv3 agent to restart unexpectedly. |
