| There is s denial of service vulnerability in Esri ArcGIS Server versions 12.0 and prior that may allow a remote, unauthenticated attacker to supply crafted requests that may, under exceptional circumstances, consume all available worker threads and deny service to users. A patch is provided for ArcGIS Server software in General Availability and Extended support status, which includes versions 12.0, 11.5, 11.3, and 11.1. Other versions are in mature or retired status, which are not patch eligible. Users working with unlisted versions are advised to upgrade and apply the patch. |
| ImageMagick before 7.1.2-33 contains a memory leak vulnerability in the magick compare command caused by missing cleanup when an operation fails. Attackers can supply inputs that trigger repeated failed compare operations to exhaust memory and cause denial of service. |
| ImageMagick before 7.1.2-33 contains a memory leak vulnerability in PerlMagick that fails to free values returned when reading image properties. Attackers can repeatedly trigger property reads through five affected PerlMagick code locations to exhaust memory and cause denial of service. |
| ImageMagick before 6.9.13-58 and 7.x before 7.1.2-33 contains a memory leak caused by a missing cleanup when the -set profile option is used. An attacker who induces a user to process images with the -set profile option can leak memory, potentially exhausting resources and causing a denial of service. |
| ImageMagick before 6.9.13-58 and 7.x before 7.1.2-33 contains a memory leak in its XML parsing code, where allocated memory is not released when parsing reaches the nesting depth limit. Attackers can supply crafted, deeply nested XML data to trigger the leak, causing memory exhaustion and denial of service. |
| ImageMagick before 7.1.2-33 contains a memory leak vulnerability in the FPX encoder that allows attackers to exhaust memory by supplying a crafted image. Attackers can submit crafted images for FPX encoding to leak memory repeatedly, causing resource exhaustion and denial of service. |
| ImageMagick before 6.9.13-58 and 7.x before 7.1.2-33 contains a memory leak in the MSL decoder that fails to release allocated memory when processing a crafted MSL image. Attackers can supply crafted MSL files for processing to repeatedly leak memory, causing resource exhaustion and denial of service. |
| zip is a zip library for Rust that supports reading and writing simple ZIP files. From 1.3.0 until 9.0.0, ZipArchive::extract in src/read/mod.rs calls Vec::with_capacity for a symbolic link target using the attacker-controlled ZIP64 uncompressed_size before reading entry data. A small archive can request an impossible capacity, causing the infallible allocation path to abort the process before the entry is validated. The failure cannot be contained with catch_unwind or a worker thread, allowing repeated denial of service in archive-processing applications. This issue is fixed in version 9.0.0. |
| Mistune before 3.3.0 contains an inefficient algorithmic complexity vulnerability in parse_link_text that allows remote attackers to cause denial of service through unbalanced square brackets. Attackers can submit markdown containing long runs of unmatched brackets to mistune.html(), triggering repeated forward scans that stall worker processes for minutes. |
| Improper resource shutdown or release in Windows UEFI allows an authorized attacker to bypass a security feature locally. |
| destructive_command_guard (dcg) is a command-line safety tool that blocks destructive shell commands before AI coding agents run them. Prior to 0.6.6, nested or unclosed substitutions are recursively rescanned after an inner scan returns unterminated, producing exponential-time work. The affected scanners are reached through split_command_segments in src/packs/mod.rs. a destructive command followed by nested or unclosed $( or $(( sequences. nested or unclosed $( and $(( sequences cause repeated rescanning of the remaining command suffix. a hung PreToolUse hook fails open, allowing the destructive command to proceed. This issue is fixed in version 0.6.6. |
| Vulnerabilities in the affected interface of AOS-10 could allow an unauthenticated remote attacker to conduct a denial of service attack. Successful exploitation could allow an attacker to disrupt the availability of the affected interface. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
netfs: Fix subreq ref leak
Fix a subrequest ref leak in netfs_unbuffered_write() in the event that
subreq->io_iter ends up zero length during preparation. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
ntfs: fix kmap_local leak in write_mft_record_nolock() error paths
write_mft_record_nolock() maps the MFT record folio with
kmap_local_folio(), but the pre_write_mst_fixup() and
bio_add_folio() failure paths jump to the error label without
unmapping it. kmap_local mappings are stack-ordered per task, so
leaking one corrupts the nesting for any outer mapping.
Unmap the folio on those error paths too. |
| IBM QRadar SIEM could allow a remote attacker to cause a denial of service due to uncontrolled resource consumption. |
| A vulnerability was found in Travisun Opptrix 0.4.0. Affected is the function Buffer.concat of the file /api/channels/webhook/ of the component preParsing handler. Performing a manipulation results in denial of service. The attack can be initiated remotely. The exploit has been made public and could be used. The project has been completely taken offline and deprecated. The project maintainer explains: "The mentioned security risk was a design flaw that manifested primarily in local environments during earlier stages of version development. We previously addressed and resolved this specific risk; however, because the project was restricted to a small learning scope and the main versions were intended to run exclusively on localhost, the security fix was only pushed directly to our GitHub repository before it went private." This vulnerability only affects products that are no longer supported by the maintainer. |
| markdown-it is a Markdown parser. Prior to 14.3.3 and 15.0.3, when the html option or commonmark preset is enabled and the constructs occur inside a paragraph, attacker-controlled Markdown containing repeated unterminated inline HTML comments, processing instructions, declarations, or CDATA sections reaches src/rules_inline/html_inline.ts. Its HTML_TAG_RE match searches the remaining suffix for the appropriate terminator; when no terminator is present, parsing advances to the next opener and repeats the match over overlapping input, causing quadratic processing and denial of service through event-loop blocking or an unresponsive browser main thread. HTML blocks and the default HTML-disabled configuration are not affected by these payloads. This issue is fixed in versions 14.3.3 and 15.0.3. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
accel/amdxdna: put the chained BO when its mapping fails
amdxdna_cmd_set_error() looks up the first BO of a command chain, which
takes a reference, and drops it at the end of the function. The mapping of
that BO is established in between, and the failure path returns without the
put, so the reference is leaked.
Ordinary use does not reach it. The chain has been submitted before any of
this runs, so aie2_cmdlist_fill_slot() has already called
amdxdna_cmd_get_op() on that BO and amdxdna_gem_vmap() has cached its
address. What makes it reachable is that the BO is resolved again by
handle here, and the handle is userspace's to recycle: closing it after
submission and importing a dma-buf whose exporter implements no vmap onto
the same id leaves amdxdna_gem_get_obj() returning an object this cannot
map, since prime_import() types every import AMDXDNA_BO_SHARE. |
