| CVE-2021-3491 | 2 Canonical, Linux | 2 Ubuntu Linux, Linux Kernel | 2024-11-21 | 7.8 High |
| The io_uring subsystem in the Linux kernel allowed the MAX_RW_COUNT limit to be bypassed in the PROVIDE_BUFFERS operation, which led to negative values being usedin mem_rw when reading /proc/<PID>/mem. This could be used to create a heap overflow leading to arbitrary code execution in the kernel. It was addressed via commit d1f82808877b ("io_uring: truncate lengths larger than MAX_RW_COUNT on provide buffers") (v5.13-rc1) and backported to the stable kernels in v5.12.4, v5.11.21, and v5.10.37. It was introduced in ddf0322db79c ("io_uring: add IORING_OP_PROVIDE_BUFFERS") (v5.7-rc1). | ||||
| CVE-2021-3454 | 1 Zephyrproject | 1 Zephyr | 2024-11-21 | 4.3 Medium |
| Truncated L2CAP K-frame causes assertion failure. Zephyr versions >= 2.4.0, >= v.2.50 contain Improper Handling of Length Parameter Inconsistency (CWE-130), Reachable Assertion (CWE-617). For more information, see https://github.com/zephyrproject-rtos/zephyr/security/advisories/GHSA-fx88-6c29-vrp3 | ||||

| CVE-2021-39940 | 1 Gitlab | 1 Gitlab | 2024-11-21 | 4.3 Medium |
| An issue has been discovered in GitLab CE/EE affecting all versions starting from 13.2 before 14.3.6, all versions starting from 14.4 before 14.4.4, all versions starting from 14.5 before 14.5.2. GitLab Maven Package registry is vulnerable to a regular expression denial of service when a specifically crafted string is sent. | ||||
| CVE-2021-39933 | 1 Gitlab | 1 Gitlab | 2024-11-21 | 4.3 Medium |
| An issue has been discovered in GitLab CE/EE affecting all versions starting from 12.10 before 14.3.6, all versions starting from 14.4 before 14.4.4, all versions starting from 14.5 before 14.5.2. A regular expression used for handling user input (notes, comments, etc) was susceptible to catastrophic backtracking that could cause a DOS attack. | ||||
| CVE-2021-39227 | 1 Baidu | 1 Zrender | 2024-11-21 | 6.2 Medium |
| ZRender is a lightweight graphic library providing 2d draw for Apache ECharts. In versions prior to 5.2.1, using `merge` and `clone` helper methods in the `src/core/util.ts` module results in prototype pollution. It affects the popular data visualization library Apache ECharts, which uses and exports these two methods directly. The GitHub Security Advisory page for this vulnerability contains a proof of concept. This issue is patched in ZRender version 5.2.1. One workaround is available: Check if there is `__proto__` in the object keys. Omit it before using it as an parameter in these affected methods. Or in `echarts.util.merge` and `setOption` if project is using ECharts. | ||||
| CVE-2021-39205 | 1 8x8 | 1 Jitsi Meet | 2024-11-21 | 6.8 Medium |
| Jitsi Meet is an open source video conferencing application. Versions prior to 2.0.6173 are vulnerable to client-side cross-site scripting via injecting properties into JSON objects that were not properly escaped. There are no known incidents related to this vulnerability being exploited in the wild. This issue is fixed in Jitsi Meet version 2.0.6173. There are no known workarounds aside from upgrading. | ||||
