CVSS v3.1 |
| ApostropheCMS is an open-source Node.js content management system. Prior to 1.1.0 of db-connect and 4.33.0 of ApostropheCMS, an account with view-draft access can submit a projection exclusion path that traverses through a constructor prototype chain to a shared prototype member when a consumer uses a SQLite, PostgreSQL, or multipostgres adapter and has a matching document. Every editing role has view-draft access, while guestApiAccess broadens this prerequisite to any logged-in account. The unsetNestedField helper then deletes the shared runtime member, causing persistent process-wide integrity and availability effects; the default MongoDB adapter is not affected. This issue is fixed in db-connect 1.1.0 and ApostropheCMS 4.33.0. |
| In Progress® Kendo® UI for jQuery prior to 2026.3.1015, Model.accept passes server-response keys to kendo.setter without guarding against unsafe object paths containing __proto__, constructor, or prototype. An attacker who can supply data accepted by an affected model can modify object prototype attributes and influence application behavior, potentially compromising the confidentiality and integrity of application data. The impact depends on how the application uses the modified objects, including in server-side JavaScript scenarios. The earliest affected version has not been confirmed. This issue is fixed in version 2026.3.1015. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
Bluetooth: RFCOMM: Reject short EA=0 frames in rfcomm_recv_frame()
While rfcomm_recv_frame() verifies that skb->len is at least
sizeof(*hdr) + 1 (4 bytes: 3-byte header + 1-byte FCS), an RFCOMM frame
with an extended 2-byte length field (!__test_ea(hdr->len)) has a 4-byte
header plus a 1-byte FCS (5 bytes minimum, sizeof(*hdr) + 2).
When a 4-byte RFCOMM frame with EA == 0 arrives:
1. The initial skb->len < sizeof(*hdr) + 1 check passes (4 < 4 is false).
2. Trimming the FCS byte decrements skb->len to 3.
3. If __check_fcs() succeeds, skb_pull(skb, 4) fails (4 > 3) and returns
NULL without advancing skb->data.
4. Because the return value of skb_pull() is ignored, the un-pulled
3-byte struct rfcomm_hdr remains at skb->data and is either queued as
application payload via rfcomm_recv_data() or parsed as a multiplexer
control command via rfcomm_recv_mcc() on DLCI 0.
Fix this by extending the length check in rfcomm_recv_frame() to also
require skb->len >= sizeof(*hdr) + 2 when !__test_ea(hdr->len). |
| A vulnerability was identified in DiffSK configobj up to 5.0.9. Affected by this vulnerability is the function _sectionmarker of the file configobj/__init__.py. The manipulation leads to inefficient regular expression complexity. Remote exploitation of the attack is possible. The project was informed of the problem early through an issue report but has not responded yet. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
nvme-rdma: fix -EIO cleanup order in queue_rq
On -EIO, the RDMA queue_rq path reports a host path error and then
still cleans up the command and unmaps the SQE DMA. The path error
helper completes the request, so that is double cleanup and DMA unmap
after the request is already complete.
Unmap the SQE first, then report the host path error. Skip the outer
command cleanup on that path. |
| DB-GPT through 0.8.2 contains a hardcoded credentials vulnerability in its default docker-compose.yml that sets a static MYSQL_ROOT_PASSWORD and publishes port 3306 on all interfaces. Attackers reaching port 3306 or the shared dbgptnet network can authenticate as root@% to gain full database access including FILE and SUPER privileges. |
| Dell Container Storage Modules, versions prior to 1.18.0, contain(s) an Improper Neutralization of Special Elements Used in a Template Engine vulnerability. A low privileged attacker with remote access could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to Elevation of privileges. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
drop_monitor: fix size calculations for 64-bit attributes
net_dm_packet_report_fill() and net_dm_hw_packet_report_fill() use
nla_put_u64_64bit() to append 64-bit attributes (NET_DM_ATTR_PC and
NET_DM_ATTR_TIMESTAMP).
On 32-bit architectures without CONFIG_HAVE_EFFICIENT_UNALIGNED_ACCESS,
nla_put_u64_64bit() may append a 4-byte NET_DM_ATTR_PAD attribute for
64-bit alignment.
However, net_dm_packet_report_size() and net_dm_hw_packet_report_size()
used nla_total_size(sizeof(u64)) instead of nla_total_size_64bit(sizeof(u64)),
budgeting 12 bytes instead of up to 16 bytes.
This under-estimation of SKB size can lead to an skb_over_panic() when
__nla_reserve() or skb_put() is subsequently called.
Fix this by using nla_total_size_64bit(sizeof(u64)) in both size calculations. |
| A flaw was found in the Qute template engine, which is used by Quarkus to generate dynamic content like HTML pages or emails. The issue exists in the component responsible for looking up data values (ReflectionValueResolver), which fails to properly block access to sensitive Java internal functions when processing certain data types like Enums. An attacker who can provide or influence the template text can exploit this bypass to take control of the server by executing unauthorized commands. |
| A flaw was found in Smallrye, where smallrye-fault-tolerance is vulnerable to an out-of-memory (OOM) issue. This vulnerability is externally triggered when calling the metrics URI. Every call creates a new object within meterMap and may lead to a denial of service (DoS) issue. |
| A Regular-Expression Denial of Service (ReDoS) in the Markdown2. extract_metadata() function (lib/markdown2.py) of trentm markdown2 through v2.5.5 allows attackers to cause a Denial of Service (DoS) via a crafted Markdown document. |
| Nodemailer from 3.0.0 before 10.0.10 contains a denial of service vulnerability in MessageParser.parseHeaders that allows users to exhaust CPU through quadratic header unfolding. Attackers can supply large recipient lists or long headers that fold into tens of thousands of continuation lines, blocking the Node.js event loop during DKIM signing. |
| anchorme through 3.0.8 contains a regular expression denial of service vulnerability in the IPv6 host extraction regex due to catastrophic backtracking. Attackers can supply specially crafted input strings with repeated patterns to cause exponential regex engine backtracking, blocking the Node.js event loop and denying service to other requests. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
KVM: SEV: Nullify "have run CPUs" mask pointer when freeing it
Nullify have_run_cpus when freeing the mask, particularly in the error path
of __sev_guest_init(), so that KVM doesn't have to subtly use sev->active
to track whether or not the mask has been freed. As pointed out by Sashiko,
blindly freeing the mask in sev_vm_destroy() results in a double-free if
the mask is freed if __sev_guest_init() fails.
Throw the logic in a helper as nullifying the pointer is frustratingly
difficult and weird due to have_run_cpus being a single-entry array when
CPUMASK_OFFSTACK=n. Deliberately don't use CPUMASK_VAR_NULL, as it's not
directly assignable when the cpumask is on-stack, e.g. requires using a
local variable and a memcpy(), which is beyond ridiculous. Furthermore,
while clearing the on-stack bitmask is an unnecessary and arguably unwanted
side effect, KVM absolutely relies on '0' being the "null" value given that
the struct is zero-allocated.
Opportunistically add an alloc() helper to pair with free(); there are just
enough call sites to make doing so worthwhile. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
dm_early_create: fix freeing used table on dm_resume failure
If dm_resume fails, the kernel attempts to free table with
dm_table_destroy, but the table was already instantiated with
dm_swap_table. This commit skips the call to dm_table_destroy in this
case. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
smb/client: handle overlapping allocated ranges in fallocate
smb3_simple_fallocate_range() can skip holes when an allocated range
returned by the server starts before the current fallocate offset. The
skipped hole is not zero-filled, but fallocate still returns success. A
later write to that hole may therefore fail with ENOSPC.
The function queries allocated ranges so that it can preserve existing
contents and write zeroes only into holes. However, the server may return
a range that starts before the current fallocate offset.
For example, assume the fallocate request is [100, 400) and the only
allocated range returned by the server is [0, 200):
Request: [100, 400)
Server range: [ 0, 200) allocated
Correct:
[100, 200) allocated data, skip
[200, 400) hole, zero-fill
Current:
[100, 300) skipped
[300, 400) zero-filled afterwards
The current code adds the full server range length, 200, to the current
offset 100 and moves to 300. As a result, the hole in [200, 300) is
skipped without being zero-filled.
Fix this by advancing only over the part of the allocated range that
overlaps the current fallocate offset. Ignore ranges that end before the
current offset and reject ranges whose end offset overflows.
This also prevents a malformed range length from causing an out-of-bounds
zero-buffer read. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
wifi: mac80211: fix fils_discovery double free on alloc failure
ieee80211_set_fils_discovery() calls kfree_rcu() on the old template
before allocating the replacement. If the kzalloc() then fails, it
returns -ENOMEM while link->u.ap.fils_discovery still points at the
object already queued for freeing. A later update or AP teardown
(ieee80211_stop_ap()) re-queues that same rcu_head; the second free is
caught by KASAN when the RCU sheaf is processed in softirq:
BUG: KASAN: double-free in rcu_free_sheaf (mm/slub.c:5850)
Free of addr ffff88800c065280 by task swapper/0/0
...
__rcu_free_sheaf_prepare (mm/slub.c:2634 mm/slub.c:2940)
rcu_free_sheaf (mm/slub.c:5850)
rcu_core (kernel/rcu/tree.c:2617 kernel/rcu/tree.c:2869)
handle_softirqs (kernel/softirq.c:622)
The buggy address belongs to the cache kmalloc-96 of size 96
Queue the old object for kfree_rcu() only after the new one is published,
matching ieee80211_set_probe_resp() and ieee80211_set_s1g_short_beacon(). |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
nvmet-tcp: Fix potential UAF when ddgst mismatch
Shivam Kumar found via vulnerability testing:
When data digest is enabled on an NVMe/TCP connection and a digest
mismatch occurs on a non-final H2C_DATA PDU during an R2T-based
data transfer, the digest error handler in nvmet_tcp_try_recv_ddgst()
calls nvmet_req_uninit() — which performs percpu_ref_put() on the
submission queue — but does NOT mark the command as completed. It
does not set cqe->status, does not modify rbytes_done, and does not
clear any flag. When the subsequent fatal error triggers queue
teardown, nvmet_tcp_uninit_data_in_cmds() iterates all commands,
checks nvmet_tcp_need_data_in() for each one, and finds that the
already-uninited command still appears to need data (because
rbytes_done < transfer_len and cqe->status == 0). It therefore calls
nvmet_req_uninit() a second time on the same command — a double
percpu_ref_put against a single percpu_ref_get. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
net: openvswitch: reject oversized nested action attrs
Open vSwitch stores generated flow actions as nlattrs, whose nla_len
field is u16. Commit a1e64addf3ff ("net: openvswitch: remove
misbehaving actions length check") allowed the total sw_flow_actions
stream to grow beyond 64 KiB, which is valid, but also removed the last
guard preventing a generated nested action attribute from exceeding
U16_MAX.
An oversized generated container can thus be closed with a truncated
nla_len. A later dump or teardown then walks a structurally different
stream than the one that was validated. In particular, an oversized
nested CLONE/CT action may cause subsequent bytes in the generated
stream to be interpreted as independent actions.
Keep the larger total-action-stream behavior, but make nested action
close reject generated containers that do not fit in nla_len, and return
the error through all callers. For recursive SAMPLE, CLONE, DEC_TTL, and
CHECK_PKT_LEN builders, trim resource-owning action-list tails in reverse
construction order before discarding failed wrappers, so resources copied
into the rejected tails are released before the wrappers are removed.
Most failed outer wrappers are discarded by truncating actions_len after
child resources have been released. CHECK_PKT_LEN also trims its parent
after branch resources are gone. SET/TUNNEL close failures unwind their
known tun_dst ownership directly, and SET_TO_MASKED has no external
ownership and truncates on close failure. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
Bluetooth: l2cap: clear chan->ident on ECRED reconfiguration success
l2cap_ecred_reconf_rsp() returns early on success without clearing
chan->ident. Every other L2CAP response handler (l2cap_ecred_conn_rsp,
l2cap_le_connect_rsp, l2cap_config_rsp) clears chan->ident after a
successful transaction to prevent the channel from matching subsequent
responses with the recycled ident value.
A remote attacker that completed a reconfiguration as the peer can
replay a failure response with the stale ident, causing the kernel to
match and destroy the already-established channel via
l2cap_chan_del(chan, ECONNRESET).
Clear chan->ident for all matching channels on success, and harden the
failure path by using l2cap_chan_hold_unless_zero() consistent with
other L2CAP handlers (l2cap_le_command_rej, __l2cap_get_chan_by_ident). |
