CVSS v3.1 |
| Several psqlODBC entry points use an application-supplied column number or row index as an array index without validating it. SQLBindCol with a column number above 32767 wraps the binding count negative and a later copy runs off the array. A negative SQL_DESC_COUNT on an application row descriptor unbinds columns at negative indexes. SQLColAttribute with a very large column number uses a negative index. SQLSetPos(SQL_ADD) does not check the row number against the rowset size. An application that forwards untrusted column or row numbers exposes its process to out-of-bounds reads and writes. Versions before psqlODBC 18.00.0006 are affected. |
| The psqlODBC parser for ODBC escape sequences in application SQL text writes the argument offsets of a {fn} escape into a fixed 16-entry stack array without a bound and does not initialize the array. An escape with too many arguments overflows the stack, and a reference to an unsupplied argument copies arbitrary bytes into the query. The copy of a {d}, {t}, {ts}, or {escape} body also writes one byte past a 128-byte stack buffer. An application that forwards untrusted SQL text to the driver exposes its process to memory corruption. Versions before psqlODBC 18.00.0006 are affected. |
| A flaw was found in PostgreSQL that allows authenticated database users to execute arbitrary code through missing overflow checks during SQL array value modification. This issue exists due to an integer overflow during array modification where a remote user can trigger the overflow by providing specially crafted data. This enables the execution of arbitrary code on the target system, allowing users to write arbitrary bytes to memory and extensively read the server's memory. |
| Microsoft ODBC Driver for SQL Server Remote Code Execution Vulnerability |
| In multiple locations, there is a possible out of bounds write due to an integer overflow. This could lead to local escalation of privilege with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation. |
| In _mupdf_get_hdr of wprint_mupdf.c, there is a possible out-of-bounds read due to an integer overflow. This could lead to local information disclosure with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation. |
| In parseContentType of PduParser.java, there is a possible denial of service due to an integer overflow. This could lead to remote denial of service with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation. |
| Heap-based buffer overflow in Microsoft Streaming Service allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally. |
| psqlODBC sizes its row cache from the column count of a cursor's first result, but recomputes the column count from each later FETCH reply without checking that it matches. A server not trusted under current SSL settings can answer a later FETCH with more columns and make the driver write tuple records past the end of the heap allocation. A keyset reply with fewer columns than the key fields also underflows the unsigned field count. This is reachable with UseDeclareFetch enabled. Versions before psqlODBC 18.00.0006 are affected. |
| psqlODBC trusts counts and lengths in server data in three places. SQLBulkOperations uses a server-supplied row count in a size subtraction that can underflow. SQLStatistics iterates index keys using a server-supplied key count without bounding it to the fixed storage. Bytea octal decoding reads up to two bytes past the end of a truncated escape sequence. A server not trusted under current SSL settings can crash the client or make it read out of bounds. Versions before psqlODBC 18.00.0006 are affected. |
| Scribus before 1.6.7 and 1.7.x before 1.7.4 contains an integer overflow vulnerability in the scimgdataloader_tiff TIFF loader that allows attackers to trigger a heap overflow via crafted tile dimensions. Attackers can supply a tiled TIFF with large tile width, height and sample values for a user to import, corrupting heap memory to crash Scribus or execute code. |
| libexpat through 2.9.0 contains a signed integer overflow vulnerability in storeAtts() in lib/xmlparse.c that allows attackers to trigger out-of-bounds writes via oversized attribute counts. Attackers can supply a multi-gigabyte document with a start tag carrying over 2^30 attributes to overflow attIndex and nPrefixes, crashing applications or corrupting heap memory. |
| CImg through 4.0.6 contains a heap out-of-bounds read vulnerability in the _load_bmp() function of CImg.h caused by an integer overflow in the row byte count. Attackers can supply a crafted BMP file with a large header width that wraps dx_bytes, causing crashes or heap memory disclosure into the decoded image. |
| DoS vulnerability in the window module.
Impact: Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may affect availability. |
| Buffer overflow vulnerability in the file preview module.
Impact: Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may affect availability. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
io_uring/waitid: prevent cancel reference wrap
io_waitid packs the cancellation state into bit 31 of ->refs and uses
bits 30:0 as a 31-bit reference counter:
#define IO_WAITID_CANCEL_FLAG BIT(31)
#define IO_WAITID_REF_MASK GENMASK(30, 0)
__io_waitid_cancel() marks a request canceled, then increments the low
bits of ->refs to claim completion ownership. When another path owns the
request, the increment remains even though cancellation returns false.
The request remains discoverable by cancellation, so repeated failed
attempts can wrap the 31-bit reference field to zero. A later
cancellation can claim ownership and complete the request a second time.
Use atomic_fetch_or() when setting the cancel flag and inspect the old
flag value. The first cancel attempt continues to the existing ownership
increment, preserving its wake and issuer handoff semantics. Later
attempts see the cancel flag and return without incrementing the
reference field.
This makes repeated failed cancellation attempts idempotent while
leaving the first-cancel state transitions unchanged. |
| libaec through 1.1.7 contains an out-of-bounds read vulnerability in m_se_decode() in src/decode.c that allows attackers to bypass a signed bounds check via an overlong fundamental sequence. Attackers can supply a crafted CCSDS 121.0/SZIP stream with 2^31 or more zero bits to crash the decoder or leak adjacent memory into decoded samples. |
| qiujie mall-server 0.0.1-SNAPSHOT contains an integer overflow in CartServiceImpl that allows an authenticated user to wrap a cart quantity to a negative value. The order creation flow does not validate the resulting quantity and passes it to the stock update query, increasing inventory and creating negative-value orders. |
| SOEM version 2.0.0 and earlier contains vulnerabilities where a malicious device on the network can send specially crafted messages that cause the master to write data outside allocated memory boundaries. The software performs arithmetic on message length values without proper validation, allowing negative or extremely large values to bypass safety checks. This can corrupt memory and potentially allow an attacker to execute arbitrary code on the master system. |
| llama.cpp b10398 before b11301 contains an integer overflow vulnerability in gguf_init_from_reader that allows attackers to bypass tensor element-count validation by supplying shapes whose product wraps to zero. Attackers can craft GGUF files with enormous tensor extents that overflow ggml_nbytes() and strides, causing out-of-bounds memory access when buffers are sized from wrapped byte counts. |
